Rules and Regulations for Students

Good behavior and discipline are key foundations for good education. Without an orderly atmosphere, effective teaching and learning cannot take place. We as Al Dhiya Bilingual Private School expect and insist on the highest standards of behavior throughout our school.

Discipline in Al Dhiya generally begins with a code of conduct. This document should be read and signed by parents and students at the time of admission to the school. It is part of the contract between student, parents and the school. Since you have already agreed to the school’s code of conduct beforehand, when you commit an infraction of the code, you will be disciplined accordingly :

1. Student should make every effort to attend every day and be punctual.
2. School uniform is mandatory.
3. Absentees should be clearly justified by the student, parents in a written notice or a formal paper, clarified the reasons or the circumstances from being absent as : death , funeral, illness ….
4. Student should be quiet, kind and show respect to their teachers when in school.
5. Student  should  behave  in  a  responsible  manner and  is expected to do what he /she is told.
6. Students are expected to make it as easy as possible for everyone to learn and for the teacher to teach, whether this takes place inside or outside the classroom.
7. Students should be silent whenever they are required to be. When speaking is permitted they should do it in a polite way.
8. The school should be kept clean and tidy so that it can be a welcoming place and a good image of our school beyond the others.
9. Student should remember that the school’s reputation depends on the way they behave.
10. Chewing gums, penknives, mobiles, headphones, watches are not permitted.
11. There must be no running in the school building.
12. Sexual harassment, theft, threat, unprovoked attack by one student on another and the  use of bad language between students are totally unaccepted.
13. Punishment will be in the same degree of the offensive behaviour.   Investigation will be before action is determined.
